The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Call of Duty: Warzone are shutting down. Call of Duty: Warzone was released in 2020 and was massively successful during the COVID-19 pandemic. The game took the concept of a Call of Duty BR to new heights and is quite easily one of the most popular battle royale games ever made.
Unfortunately, Call of Duty: Warzone's popularity has waned, as has the popularity of all BR games to some extent. There have been all kinds of controversial Warzone updates released over the years, with perhaps the most disliked being the removal of the original map Verdansk. Verdansk was later brought back and removed again, which has upset some fans.
