The Elder Scrolls franchise has found itself in quite a rough spot in recent years following what feels like the neverending wait for the next installment. It is hard to believe that The Elder Scrolls VI was first announced way back in 2018 alongside a very-brief teaser trailer. Not only that, but with the most recent mainline The Elder Scrolls entry, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, releasing way back in 2011, it is no wonder that fans feel like they have been waiting a lifetime for the franchise to continue.
However, with Bethesda head Todd Howard himself admitting that The Elder Scrolls VI was announced far too soon, it seems as though fans will have to continue playing the long game as we do not imagine we will see the title launch until 2030 at the earliest.
Luckily, it is not all doom and gloom, as one The Elder Scrolls spin-off game is still releasing new and exciting content for its fans, and it seems as though June will reward players more than ever with some exciting freebies.
