If you're a gamer with a Steam account (which is surely most of us at this point), you should never miss the chance to add a free game to your library, at which point it's yours to keep forever. You'll be able to do what you like with it. Throw it into the abyss that is your backlog, never think about it again, or — and I know this seems like madness — you might even consider playing it.
