Regardless of how anyone personally feels about how long it may have overstayed its welcome, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is still easily one of the best RPGs of all-time, offering hundreds of hours of open-world exploration and thrilling fantasy stories for players to work through.
It's undoubtedly an epic experience, and one that players still return to in their thousands with regularity. That's what makes it all the more galling that we haven't had another release in the series yet, almost fifteen years since the last game dropped.
