After the official announcement of the heavily rumored Lord of the Rings RPG from Warhorse Games earlier this month, fans of the franchise may finally be getting the open-world Middle-earth game they've been waiting on for ages. Warhorse is promising something absolutely massive and immersive, and based on their work with the Kingdom Come: Deliverance franchise, there's no reason to think they can't deliver.
However, Warhorse's game isn't the only one fans are looking forward to, with yet another heavily rumored open-world project reportedly in development by Crystal Dynamics, the studio currently in charge of the Tomb Raider franchise. This project is supposedly going to take a similar shape as Hogwarts Legacy, though specific details have not been confirmed as of this writing.
