Helldivers 2's Machinery of Oppression 6.2.5 update is officially out now and is free to download on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. This latest Helldivers 2 update brings another suite of bug fixes to the live-service Sci-Fi shooter and adds support for some major gaming industry upscalers.
Over the last 27 months, Helldivers 2 has received over 100 updates. These updates have included major content drops, such as the Omens of Tyranny update in December 2024 which added the Illuminate faction, as well as a plethora of smaller patches that focus solely on improving the game's performance and squashing any bugs, and a whole load of updates that fall in between the two. This latest Helldivers 2 update falls more towards the latter end of the scale, not adding any major new content to the game but instead improving its performance, especially for those on PC.
