An ambitious team of modders is creating a full-fledged multiplayer mod for Kingdom Hearts 3, allowing players to team up with up to three friends. The Kingdom Hearts 3 mod shows off four different playable characters from the game's cast to choose from.
The most recent Kingdom Hearts game was a groundbreaking entry for the franchise in multiple ways. Kingdom Hearts 3's launch in 2019 marked the first time the franchise had released a new main-series game in more than a decade, with multiple spin-offs released after Kingdom Hearts 2. KH3 also concluded the Dark Seeker Saga story arc, which served as the Kingdom Hearts franchise's main plotline since the original game debuted in 2002. Now, a group of Kingdom Hearts 3 modders is aiming to add multiplayer gameplay to the franchise's third main entry.
