Concept Art For Bluepoint's Next Game Spotted In PlayStation Tour Video

The Malaysian minister of digital Gobind Singh Deo posted a brief 46-second video on LinkedIn yesterday in which he toured the PlayStation Malaysia studio. A few eagle-eyed viewers noticed concept art on one of the monitors for what looks to be Bluepoint's upcoming new project.

Sony's portable machine was way ahead of its time.

For context, ransomware group Rhysida stole 1.6 terabytes of data from Insomniac Games last year and leaked it online. Those digging through the data found concept art for Bluepoint's new IP, showing two figures looking out at a fantasy desert setting.

In the concept art on the monitors at PlayStation Malaysia, we see a very similar aesthetic to the leaked image which you can see in higher resolution below, so it's safe to assume that this is our first official look at Bluepoint's current project.

Bluepoint made a name for itself as a remaster and remake studio, notably releasing Demon's Souls, Shadow of the Colossus, and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake collection, all of which were critically acclaimed for how well they brought these classics to modern audiences.
