PlayStation Plus Extra First Free Game For June Officially Confirmed

Last week saw the unfortunate news that support for Destiny 2 would be coming to an end after almost a decade. Developed by Bungie and acting as a sequel to 2014's Destiny, Destiny 2 has been THE free-to-play shooter since 2017, welcoming multiple expansions, events, and many awards and nominations.

However, last week Bungie shared the unfortunate news that Destiny 2 will be coming to an end following the launch of one more live-service content update on 9 June. The official statement reads:

"For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2."
