Wolverine is set to take center stage at Sony's upcoming PlayStation State of Play. While the event will reportedly be stacked with other PlayStation exclusives, Wolverine will be the showstopper, with an extended look confirmed ahead of its September 15 release.
Just days before the big event, though, Insomniac decided it wanted to have a little fun and terrified Wolverine fans with a Rockstar-esque tweet. And it's safe to say, there were more than a few of them who believed, even for a brief second, that the game was delayed.
"Hi everyone, Grand Theft Auto VI is now set to release on May 26, 2026," read Rockstar's first delay announcement for its hotly anticipated title. "Hi everyone, Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19. 2026," began its second.
The words "Hi everyone" have now traumatized millions of gamers, and there is a perception that they are the worst of omens, serving as a precursor to an impending delay.
Insomniac knew exactly what it was doing then, when it began a recent tweet by saying, "Hey everyone."
