Crytek has announced that Hunt: Showdown is getting a current-gen upgrade called Hunt: Showdown 1896, which is scheduled to launch next month on August 15.

As great as Hunt: Showdown is, though, it can always get better. Some time ago, Cryrek promised that a new version of the game would be released in 2024 which would upgrade the engine and update it for the modern era. That time is coming up very soon, as the current-gen version of Hunt: Showdown has officially been revealed.
