As we continue to wait patiently for any sign that The Elder Scrolls 6 is happening this decade, many of us have gone back to revisit the older games in the series. Oblivion Remastered was a pretty alright way to do that, even if it has been left in a sorry state without updates, but it may have only made us more reliant on modern touches in games, making it harder to go back to everything that came before.
Luckily, The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind has an absurdly dedicated modding community, allowing you to add plenty of quality-of-life improvements to the game if you want to give it a go. And now, we have one that will definitely make Morrowind feel a lot more like Skyrim and Oblivion - because it adds the iconic radiant AI mechanics into the game.
The mod is a work in progress, but as you can see, it's already come a long way. Here, we can see NPCs run into one another and start conversations, as they would in Oblivion. Perhaps most importantly, they move around now, sticking to a schedule that involves sleeping at night, rather than staying in one spot 24/7....
