Subnautica 2 has been out for a little while now, meaning a lot of the game's problems are well known to both fans and developer Unknown Worlds. That is exactly what the early access period is for though, and one of the more frequent bits of feedback that has been received from loads of fans is how aggressive the game's wildlife can be, Hammerheads in particular.

In the game's most recently released hotfix, it was explained that Hammerheads will no longer attack unpiloted Tadpoles, though it was made clear that they will still take an interest in them if they see them lingering around. That was quite possibly the biggest change in the patch notes, though other big changes, like reduced Interior Wall costs and unbreakable Tadpoles, are also pretty huge.
