Yesterday, during the first of many major showcases this summer, PlayStation revealed the heavily rumored God of War title based on Kratos' wife, Faye. Titled God of War Laufey, the game ties into the events of the 2018 reboot, as players enter the afterlife with Faye. And a cube.
Any new God of War game is met with excitement; however, there is one person who wasn't impressed with the reveal at all: series creator, David Jaffe, who said the game "looks like sh*t".
Jaffe livestreamed his reactions to yesterday's State of Play, casting judgment on everything revealed by PlayStation, and he was generally positive about the event. There were two games in particular that he didn't seem to like, though: Marvel's Wolverine and God of War Laufey.
The developer-turned-YouTuber felt that Wolverine was "very generic looking from a gameplay standpoint," but he, unsurprisingly, had more scathing things to say about Laufey.
