Insomniac Addresses Fan Requests For A Marvel's Wolverine Collector's Edition

Not only did PlayStation show off a lot more of Marvel's Wolverine during its latest State of Play, but once the presentation was over, it opened pre-orders for the upcoming Insomniac game. There's bad news for those of you who planned on dropping hundreds of dollars on a potential collector's edition, though.

After opening pre-orders for Wolverine, whoever runs Insomniac's X account was on hand to field any questions Marvel fans might have about its various editions. Turns out there were a lot of them, even though most of the details are laid out in the PlayStation Blog that accompanied Wolverine's beefy new trailer.

When asked if Wolverine has a collector's edition, Insomniac not only replied that it doesn't, but seemingly confirmed that there isn't going to be one closer to the game's release on September 15, 2026. "Marvel’s Wolverine will not have a Collector’s Edition," it replied, adding, "We will offer a Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition."

Pre-orders for the standard and digital deluxe editions are available now through the PlayStation Store, with the former priced at $69.99 and the latter $79.99. The standard edition will be getting a physical release, and Insomniac has confirmed that...
