Silent Hill: Townfall is still launching this year.
This was revealed in a new trailer revealed at PlayStation's State of Play. This gave us a look at the gameplay and cinematics of Silent Hill: Townfall, but most importantly, it gave us a firm release date: September 24, 2026.
The trailer gave us an idea of the tone Townfall is going for as it takes us to Scotland for the first time. It's all looking very stylish, and not quite like anything else the series has done before. It also looks like there's a greater focus on
We had a good idea that Townfall would appear at the State of Play thanks to the game's age rating being shared ahead of time. Unsurprisingly, the game is rated M. What is slightly surprising is that it suggested that Townfall is skipping Xbox, as the age rating page makes no mention of the platform. Previously, promotional material has omitted Xbox as well, and that hasn't escaped the notice of fans. It's unclear if this is part of an exclusivity deal, but at the very least, it will be on PC.
