Insomniac promised us more Wolverine in the spring. It left it late - I'd technically call this summer, but let's not snikt hairs - but the studio was just waiting for the biggest stage possible. That stage was today's State of Play, and Insomniac made sure that the wait for more Wolverine was worth it.
The biggest takeaway from our best look yet at Wolverine was the two additional mutants we were shown. Jean Grey was shown using her telekinetic powers alongside Logan, while the extended gameplay section ended with Wolverine clashing with his long-time nemesis, Sabretooth.
The new footage was also a welcome reminder of just how violent this game is going to be. Blood - a lot of it - and our first look at how you'll help Logan heal when he's really up against it. After being struck down and almost beaten beyond repair, a QTE appears that you'll need to nail to keep Wolverine in the fight.
