At last night's State of Play, Firesprite Games announced Until Dawn 2, a sequel to the 2015 narrative horror game that proved a big hit when it released on PlayStation 4.
The trailer for Until Dawn 2 depicts a group of young 'ghost hunter' influencers who faked their previous sightings for clout, but have now encountered something that's actually trying to kill them, a classic horror trope.
The new cast includes Dacre Montgomery (Stranger Things), Neil Newbon (Baldur's Gate 3), Camila Senna (Música), Hannah Kepple (Cobra Kai), Tanner Buchanan (Cobra Kai), Gavin Leatherwood (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) and of course, Peter Stromare, the returning psychologist from the original game.
Though many probably would have guessed we'd have a new cast of characters for the sequel—unless Academy Award for Best Actor winner Rami Malek fancies a return to motion capture—the ending to the 2015 remake of Until Dawn gave some fans pause.
