Despite God of War Laufey not being given a release window and only being said to be "in development", a reliable insider has claimed that it "isn't years away".
As great as Marvel's Wolverine and Rayman Legends Retold were in last night's State of Play, the biggest announcement of the bunch was, without a doubt, the reveal of a brand-new God of War game starring Kratos' wife, Faye. PlayStation clearly knew it too, as it dedicated more than 20 minutes to the showstopping reveal, which gave us a great look at what Sony Santa Monica has been cooking.
That being said, the showcase did end on a bit of a downer, as PlayStation didn't give Laufey a release window of any kind, and simply said that the game was "in development". This caused some fans to be worried about how long we'll be waiting for Laufey, but a reliable insider has suggested it's actually not that far off.
Following God of War Laufey's reveal at last night's State of Play, God of War fans were quick to point out that it was one of the only games in the showcase not to be given a release window at all....
