One of the most pervasive mysteries in the God of War series is who blew the horn to summon Jörmungandr — even the leaked 2018 script, which included translations for the World Serpent's dialogue, didn't offer answers. Speculation varies wildly, from Baldur to Angrboda's parents to future Kratos, who some believe sent the Gjallarhorn reverberating throughout history, but a new theory has risen thanks to the Laufey reveal at yesterday's State of Play.

If you've been hungover in Valhalla and missed the news, Santa Monica just unveiled a new God of War spin-off that follows Faye as she navigates the afterlife of the gods.
