An Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game delay is the latest title to adjust its release schedule to get everything right for its commercial debt, though thankfully this delay isn't too long.
The new Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game release date is set for July 23rd, instead of the previous July 2nd, a three week delay. To help tide hungry Avatar fans over they will be able to try the game out on July 2nd as everyone who preorders on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S will be able to try the game between July 2 and 5th in a cross-play enabled beta.
According to the developers announcement, the delay of Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is to 'deliver the best possible experience', a rather vague statement but could imply there are some bugs that needed squashing. Additionally, they state they will use the time to add brand new content that was previously unplanned for the game.
