We all know that Marvel loves a crossover these days, and if you didn't know, I only have to point to Avengers Doomsday coming out later this year to prove myself correct. It feels like you can't have a Marvel product these days without a different Marvel property sticking its nose in for a quick cameo to please comic book nerds, but games have been an exception.
Marvel's Spider-Man and its subsequent sequels kept things primarily rooted within the Spider-Man universe, even though Insomniac couldn't resist sticking the Avengers tower in the middle of New York City. Yes, I know it's accurate to the world of Marvel, but it was still a bit garish for me. Nevertheless, Marvel's Spider-Man had Spider-Man heroes fighting Spider-Man villains, so I was happy.
However, now that Insomniac has moved onto another Marvel hero, that being Wolverine, the developer now has two high-profile superheroes in the bag that share the same universe. If it was any other Marvel product, we'd probably see Spider-Man swing into Marvel's Wolverine at some point, make a funny quip and then swing away, but Insomniac wants you to know that this won't be the case....
