Resident Evil really did a fantastic job of ramping up the stakes right out of the gate, sending players to new places to explore and escape. The first game felt right at home in the gigantic Spencer Mansion, and the following two games would send players to Raccoon City. However, subsequent mainline releases were jet-setting adventures across the globe, a tradition that continues to this day.

Because of this conceit, many fans have been wondering where the series could go next. Although erring on the side of jungles would lead to many fans comparing it to Dino Crisis, there are plenty of biomes and countries to choose from to keep players on their toes.
