Since the studio's founding over three decades ago, CD Projekt Red has carved out two massive franchises in The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077.
Though both franchises predate their respective adaptations, there's no doubt that the work of the studio is largely responsible for their contemporary popularity. Now, with Cyberpunk 2 and The Witcher 4 in active development, CDPR is trying to achieve a similar feat with a third franchise.
We first heard about Project Hadar several years ago, but we know next to nothing about the project. However, a new job listing (spotted by GamesRadar) has shed some light on the type of project CDPR is working on.
"In this position, together with the rest of the team, you will help push the envelope for the next, immersive game in the Hadar world, creating an emotional experience that will stay with gamers," reads the listing for Engineering Director.
Although that doesn't give much away, we can extrapolate from that description that Hadar isn't a side project that CD Projekt Red is running to beef up its catalogue between Witcher and Cyberpunk releases, but rather another major franchise in the works at the studio.
