You'll struggle to find someone swatted more often than Grand Theft Auto 5 actor Ned Luke. I'm not entirely sure why he's targeted so often, whether it's his antagonistic online personality or just simply because he's famous for being in GTA, but the man has been routinely swatted. While he's never given us an official number, his most recent swatting last year took his total to at least eight that we're aware of.
He's been swatted so many times that he's actually buddies with the police. I can imagine it's becoming a real problem, especially since these swatters believe that they have total anonymity and can hide behind computer screens to avoid any real consequences. Or, at least, that's probably what they thought.
Luke has been documenting his attempts to actually make these swatters pay via his Instagram account, and as spotted by PC Gamer, it appears as though his efforts have born fruit. In an Instagram post uploaded a couple of days ago, Luke reveals that one of his swatters has actually been sentenced to four years in prison, along with an extra three years of supervised release.
The streamer remained surprisingly upbeat about the whole situation.
