Yet Another Game Is Struggling To Get An Xbox Version Thanks To The Series S

Ever since it was released, the Xbox Series S has been a real thorn in the side of developers trying to optimize their games for Xbox. It was rumored to be the reason behind Black Myth: Wukong's delayed Xbox version, CD Projekt Red has admitted it's going to struggle to get The Witcher 4 at 60fps on the console, and both Baldur's Gate 3 and Borderlands 4 had trouble including split-screen multiplayer.

Sure, it's a cut-price Xbox to get you into the ecosystem, but it's causing issues for developers, and some are having to delay Xbox versions of their games just so they can get them functional on Xbox Series S first. It's happened a few times already, and shows no sign of stopping either, as another developer has recently announced that it's delaying its Xbox version primarily due to the Series S.

It was announced during PlayStation's State of Play this month that No Rest for the Wicked will be coming out of early access this October, and while PlayStation was only mentioned in the show, it will be launching on Steam too.
