Despite coming from PlatinumGames, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin won't play like Bayonetta or Ninja Gaiden 4, since you play as a "tank of a Ninja Turtle".
Last night's Summer Game Fest showcase was perhaps one of the most packed that we've had in some time, with tons of stand-out announcements like Final Fantasy 7 Revelations, Resident Evil Veronica, a sequel to Cuphead, and oh so much more. Without a doubt, though, the biggest reveal of the whole night (in my biased opinion) was for TMNT: The Last Ronin.
A game based on The Last Ronin was previously announced a few years ago, but presumed cancelled when Black Forest Games suffered heavy layoffs. That project is making a comeback with legendary action game developer PlatinumGames at the helm, which is a match made in heaven. That being said, don't expect it to play exactly like Platinum's previous work.
