Just a few days after the eventful Summer Games Fest, Microsoft held its Xbox Games Showcase 2026 and showed off several brand-new games releasing soon, as well as revealing more gameplay and story details for previously announced first-party titles.
Some highlights for the showcase focused on Gears of War: E-Day, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and Playground Games' Fable, which all had their release dates revealed with CE launching on July 28th next month, E-Day launching on October 6th later this year, and Fable launching on February 23rd, 2027.
On top of the new gameplay and cinematic clips displayed during the Showcase for these games, all three titles became available for pre-order soon after the digital event, with each game featuring its own impressive collector's edition that fans will want to pick up for exclusive merchandise and in-game gear.
