As Dragon Age: The Veilguard brings players back to the series, many are picking up the first game, Dragon Age: Origins, on Steam. However, it seems that for many, this is the worst way to experience it, as the current state of the game is described as unplayable.
Whether it's frequent crashes, performance issues, or save files corrupting towards the game of the game, Dragon Age fans are incredibly disappointed by the state of Origins on Steam. Some are calling on EA and BioWare to address this, or even leave a disclaimer on the Steam page to warn new players.
While this has been a topic of debate for some time, Reddit user Jimbobfreddiewilson has now suggested that Steam add a disclaimer to the Dragon Age: Origins Steam page, warning players about the performance issues. They point to the fact that, for many, mods are needed to make Origins playable via Steam, like the 4GB patch and Qwinn's Ultimate DAO Fixpack.
