With both the PlayStation State of Play and Summer Game Fest out of the way, it was Xbox's time to shine, and we usually get some decent reveals from these things. We knew that Xbox would deliver the semi-exclusive goods like Gears of War and Halo, but it had some surprises up its sleeve, such as the third game in the Hellblade series.
We got a decently action-packed trailer, which is nice given the second game in the series barely had any. We saw Senua fighting a bunch of enemies with a variety of weapons, and while there wasn't much about the game's story, we do see her coming up against large deity-like creatures.
Make that two big games from Xbox that won't be playable on PlayStation.
Finally, at the end of the trailer, it was revealed that the third game in the Hellblade series is simply called Senua. It doesn't seem to be a proper reboot, despite the naming convention changes, and more of a third game in the series that follows on from the other two.
