February 2027 Is Already Almost As Busy As September For Game Releases

Following the PlayStation State of Play on Tuesday, we were quick to decry that September would be one of the busiest months for games in recent history. Wolverine, Silent Hill f, and Control Resonant were just three of the games at Sony's showcase to plant their flag in the ground for September, avoiding Grand Theft Auto 6 in the process.

But while September is full, February went under the radar. As more games began to reveal their dates, February got fuller, and we now have two absolutely stacked months either side of GTA.

If you break it down, there are probably five or six major triple-A titles releasing this September: The Blood of Dawnwalker, Marvel's Wolverine, Silent Hill: Townfall, Control Resonant, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. The month is then bulked out by some other big titles, like Minecraft Dungeons 2 and Valor Mortis. It is incredibly busy.

Following yesterday's Xbox Games Showcase, February is giving September a run for its money. While there aren't as many smaller titles penned in for the month yet, there is set to be at least four major triple-A titles releasing: Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Persona 4 Revival, Fable, and Metro...
