Xbox held a blockbuster showcase on Sunday, revealing more about Halo: Campaign Evolved, Gears of War: E-Day, and Fable, even though it's delayed until 2027. It also opened pre-orders for all three of those flagship titles and revealed a trio of expensive collector's editions.
If you're familiar with collector's editions, then you'll know they can be pretty pricey. Particularly the ones that come with statues, and all three of Xbox's new offerings do indeed have their own statues. It's pre-orders for all three opening at the same time that's the kicker, especially when good CEs tend to sell out fast, and all three of these look well put together.
The Fable and Halo collector's editions are $199.99 each, so whether you want one or both, you're about to part ways with a significant chunk of change. However, the E-Day CE has its Xbox-published rivals beat. If you want that new Gears of War collector's edition, complete with a battery-powered Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago diorama, it's going to set you back $299.99.
