After a week of big announcements across multiple showcases, we might not be done quite yet. It seems likely there's going to be a Nintendo Direct to keep the good vibes going this week, and if there is, you can probably expect a new Wario game to be shown off.
That's according to a leaker who goes by the username noarmsandnolegs. They claimed on Twitter that "a new Wario game is coming", followed by some of the evidence that has led them to that conclusion. Pictonico being a WarioWare homage, Wario World making it onto NSO before some other, very big, GameCube games, and the return of Baby Wario in Mario Tennis Fever among the reasons for them thinking something Wario-themed is in the works.
On the surface, this seems like little more than a Nintendo fan piecing together some flimsy pieces of evidence in an attempt to manifest something they're trying to will into existence. It's the source of this conjecture that makes the claims feel a little more concrete.
