Don't Worry, Arkane's Blade Game Is "Not Dead" And Is Reportedly Doing Well

Last week was probably the biggest week for games we've had in a long while. PlayStation, Xbox, and Geoff Keighely all combined to give us a week akin to the old days of E3. We saw plenty of huge games both old and new, though there were some heavy hitters missing, one of which was Arkane's Blade game, which has been missing for several years at this point.

What with Arkane in a bit of a troubled state after the mess that was Redfall, as well as Microsoft's willingness to shut down promising projects and studios, you can be forgiven for worrying about the studio's next big game. That made its no-show during last week's showcases a little awkward, but we have thankfully been told that it's not dead just yet.

Rumors were rife about the game's cancellation due to comments made by industry insider Jeff Grubb, speculating that the game might be dead. He later clarified in a separate tweet that he has checked with his sources since, and claims that there are "reasons we haven't seen it", but that they have nothing to do with the overall quality of the game.
