We Now Know How Fable's "Romance" Scenes Will Work, And They Sound Just As Silly As Before

Remember bonking an NPC in the old Fable games? You could get with anyone who was willing, and even decide whether or not you were going to use protection, but you didn't really see anything. You just got a fade to black and then some ridiculously over-the-top sex dialogue. It was all very slapstick, very silly, very British.

Now, it sounds like getting down and dirty with our partners - or just randos off the street - will work just the same in the new Fable reboot. Judging from the game's ESRB description, the "romance scenes" will be less acts of passion, and more like some quick hanky-panky between quests, with some truly Fable dialogue to go alongside it.

As per the ESRB description of Fable, we will be able to "flirt and engage in sexual relations" with various NPCs, although "sexual acts are not depicted".

That means that we're getting a fade to black while "suggestive/sexual dialogue" plays. And yes, the page does include a few examples of what we're going to hear.

In other words, we are so back.
