It's a great time to be a Masters of the Universe fan. First up, there's the excellent new MOTU movie in theaters right now (go see it, it's awesome). That has naturally brought on an increase in figures, toys, and other merchandise. There's also a new Amazon Luna game, Masters of the Universe: Legends Unite, that's out now. Thankfully, the good times with He-Man and the gang don't have to stop, since another new adventure is confirmed for later this year.
Developed by Bitmap Bureau and published by Limited Run Games, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction is a side-scrolling beat-'em-up inspired by classic arcade brawlers of the '80s and '90s. Originally with an April release date, the game is still set for a Summer 2026 release. This might've been to coincide with the release of the new Masters of the Universe movie, or to give space to the Amazon Luna deck-building MOTU game. Either way, this brand-new He-Man game is still on its way — and it looks pretty great.
