Task Bar Hero has exploded on Steam. At the time of writing, the idle RPG sits just shy of 500,000 concurrent players, making it the second most-played game on the platform, ahead of Dota 2 and PUBG.

The premise is quite simple: it's an idle RPG that runs in the corner of your screen while you do other tasks. Your heroes go adventuring, level up, collect gear, and most importantly, rare items can drop that can be sold on the Steam marketplace for real cash.

Task Bar Hero is a small idle RPG that sits right in your task bar. It’s quite a complex game all in all and comes across as quite a neat and novel concept: your heroes go out on adventures and collect loot while you finish a report at work.
