Arc Raiders Has Lost Another 50 Percent Of Its Remaining Player Base

Arc Raiders was one of the biggest games of 2025, launching to an absolutely massive peak player count of 482,000. It dominated social media, and was touted as one of the best live service games to release in recent years. It should have gone on to achieve greatness, but less than a year later, over 90 percent of those players have moved on.

Just two months ago, we reported that Arc Raider was struggling to crack the 100,000-player mark just four months after launch, and while a lot of player drop off is normal for a live service game, losing 80 percent of your players in that amount of time isn't a good sign.

Your aim can only carry you so far.

Since then, things haven't really improved. While Arc Raiders seemed to have stabilized at around the 90k player mark through most of May, mostly thanks to Riven Tides, that didn't last very long. At the time of writing, another 50 percent of the game's player base on PC seems to have upped sticks and vanished, with the game's latest 24-hour peak player count sitting at 49,877.
