A reliable Xbox insider has claimed that a staggering amount of the studio's big releases, including The Outer Worlds 2, Avowed, and Forza Motorsport, were considered overall misses that didn't meet "expectations".
It doesn't take much to figure out that Xbox has had a very rough go of things over the past console generation, especially considering all of the massive changes that were made prior to Asha Sharma being made CEO. Even when Xbox's direction seemed to be being made up as it went along, the one thing that it definitely brought last year was good games.
The Outer Worlds 2, South of Midnight, Keeper, and Avowed were all considered strong additions to Xbox's lineup, which made it quite a surprise when Sharma published a memo revealing a three percent accountability margin delivery that "cannot continue". As it turns out, most of those good games actually played a role in that margin.
