Spyro: A Realm Beyond could just be the start of the purple dragon's comeback, as Toys for Bob has confirmed that it wants to make "many new games" in the series.
With games like Gears of War: E-Day, Clockwork Revolution, Persona 6, Halo, and more at the Xbox Games Showcase, you'd think that one of them would end up being the standout of the whole event. I'm very happy to say that isn't the case, though, as the actual showstealing reveal came from none other than Spyro.
As was rumoured before the showcase, Toys for Bob finally announced that its next game in partnership with Xbox is Spyro: A Realm Beyond, the first new game in the series in 18 years. It was easily the most hyped reveal of the showcase, and it sounds like Toys for Bob is more than happy to stick with the beloved dragon going forward.
As pointed out by Push Square, GamesRadar+ had the chance to chat with Toys for Bob studio head Paul Yan following Spyro's reveal at Summer Game Fest. Yans said that he's proud of his team, who have been "paying attention and listening to the community" ever since the release...
