Fallout: London has barely been with us for 48 hours, and it's already inadvertently damaged relations between the UK and US. Not long after launch, a player shared a mod that changed the item name of footballs to soccer balls, starting a bitter war online which some people are taking very personally.
The mod, It's A Soccer Ball by Nexus Mods user GrumpyOldNord, only makes this one small change. However, some Brits are not taking it very well at all, and are flooding the comments to argue that what we call football is the only real football.

"Are you an American exploring London for the first time and find some of the lingo a bit confusing?" reads the mod's description. "Have no fear! The soccer ball is now properly named so as to avoid confusion with a real football."
It's cheeky, and clearly trying to rile some people up. And of course, judging by the comments, it's working.
"Well, it's this mod who breaks the immersion," one user hits back. "But Americans always think their wording is right, while the whole world knows better."
