New off-screen gameplay footage of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis has confirmed that the game is unsurprisingly less horrifically violent than the infamous Survivor Trilogy games.
Although many point to the upcoming Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis as just being a remake of the original game, that's not really all it is. As Crystal Dynamics has confirmed in the past with the whole "Unified Lara" name, Legacy of Atlantis is meant to be a bridge between the Lara we've recently come to know from the Survivor Trilogy and the Tomb Raider we know she becomes.
That's left a lot of fans wondering how much the new Tomb Raider games, including next year's Catalyst, are going to take from the Survivor Trilogy, as what we've seen so far is much more colourful and in line with the older games. One thing that we know for sure isn't making a return is the in-your-face death scenes that the most recent games had a reputation for.
