Bandai Namco's marketing director seems to have accidentally revealed that characters from the original Dragon Ball series will be playable in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero.
From the moment Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was first revealed, fans were hit with the bombshell that it was somehow going to have even more fighters than Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Granted, it's only three more characters overall, but it still stands as the largest roster the series has ever seen and possibly out of any fighting game ever.
Sparking Zero was already my most anticipated game of 2024...
Over the past few months, close to 100 characters of that roster have been revealed, spanning from Dragon Ball Z all the way to Super. As great as the stacked lineup is, though, there are still a ton of empty slots and not too many more characters from Z and Super to draw from, causing fans to speculate that Sparking will include content from either GT, the non-canon movies, or OG Dragon Ball.
