Gearbox founder Randy Pitchford says news on the next Borderlands game is coming "sooner rather than later". He also admits that he hasn't done a great job of hiding that the team is "working on something" Borderlands related, amidst numerous rumours and speculation about Borderlands 4.
This comes from an interview with TheGamer, in which Pitchford briefly discussed plans for new Borderlands games. Here, he says that he "can't wait" to share what Gearbox has been working on with fans, and suggests that we could get some news soon.
"Oh man, I don't think I've done a good enough job of hiding the fact that we're working on something," jokes Pitchford. "And I think people that love Borderlands are going to be very excited about what we're working on.
"These are fuzzy words, but sooner rather than later, we're going to be talking about what we've been working on, and I can't wait."
