No one wants to launch their game close to GTA 6. Well, aside from Devolver Digital, who are releasing a game on the game day as a bit, but that's pretty much it. As a result of this, many publishers have changed their game's release dates to either September or February, giving Rockstar a wide berth. The only problem with this is that they all had the same idea, meaning that some games have to be moved around even more to avoid these busy release windows.
However, it doesn't seem that Remedy is scared of either of these factors. The studio's CEO, Jean-Charles Gaudechon, has already argued that games launching close to GTA 6 will benefit from this, rather than be held back. And now, the devs are making it clear that they aren't afraid of all the other games launching around the same time.
