Persona 5: The Phantom X, a Gacha game that saw a limited open beta release earlier this year, is getting a worldwide release. It will also be coming to console, although this is said to be rolling out after the international launch of the game.

As noted by Persona Central, and initially reported on the Chinese website Bilibili, this news was shared at an offline event this month. At the event, Atlus, Sega, and The Phantom X publisher Perfect World are said to have confirmed the international release, having previously had this under consideration.

According to Persona Central, the Q&A with publishers confirmed that "work on the console versions of P5X will get underway after the international release." It doesn't seem that anything more specific than this was shared with attendees, so it's unclear what consoles the game is targeting, or what other countries it will launch in.

Right now, Persona 5: The Phantom X is available in an open beta, but only in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and South Korea. It remains to be seen just how wide-reaching this international launch is, or whether this just means that it will drop in a couple of more...
