Tetsuya Nomura Says Kingdom Hearts Is His Most Memorable Series And His "Life's Work"

Kingdom Hearts creator Tetsuya Nomura has admitted in a recent interview that it's his most memorable series and has become his "life's work", while teasing plenty of "new" things to come in Kingdom Hearts 4.

It's easy to forget how rough the past few years have been now that we've actually got some Kingdom Hearts 4 news, but things really were pretty dire for more than four years before this month. While every other Square Enix series under the sun was getting constant updates and new games, Kingdom Hearts was left in the dark so much that some feared the series was in trouble.

Things were certainly made worse by the fact that Kingdom Hearts creator Tetsuya Nomura was actively involved in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy, which seemed set to be complete in the time it took to get one single KH game. Many thought that Nomura wasn't as interested in Kingdom Hearts anymore, but some recent comments in a Famitsu article have proven that is far from true.
