I'm sure a lot of us have our calendars marked with "conveniently sick" on November 19, just in time for GTA 6 (don't tell my boss—who, I'm sure, will also be "conveniently sick"), but not everyone has to fabricate a doctor's note and a stuffed-up, nasal apology over the phone to get out of work.
Earlier this month, a car part manufacturer called "Burger Motorsports" announced that it will be closing its doors for Grand Theft Auto 6's launch, letting all of its employees spend the day cruising through Vice City, and now, a Lebanese fast food joint—Fries Lab—has confirmed on Instagram that it will be doing the same.
"Chat, we waited over a decade for this," the post reads. "Fries Lab will be closed while we handle some very important business in Vice City."
I'd order a burger from Fries Lab to commemorate them giving their staff the day off (and the owners' resilience in rebuilding after the restaurant was bombed in the war), but according to Google Maps, it'd be a 52-hour drive. Maybe not. Then again, those hot wings...
I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who tried to book time off...
