Toys for Bob has been thinking about a new Spyro game since at least 2018, which means all the rumours before A Realm Beyond was officially announced might have had some merit to them.
Just like with every other platforming mascot from the PS1 and PS2 era, Spyro fans have been begging for a new entry in the series for a very long time now. 2018's Reignited Trilogy was a smash hit for the purple dragon that seemed to guarantee something more would be done with the series, but that hope started to fade as the years went on.
Now, nearly a decade after those remakes released, Spyro has finally been confirmed to be getting a brand-new game with A Realm Beyond, which was announced at the Xbox Games Showcase.
