Valve Reveals Steam Machine Prices at Over $1000 | TechRaptor

Ever since it was revealed, we've been waiting for more details on Valve's Steam Machines, how much they would cost and what they would contain as far as hardware would concern. With a situation in the tech world of inflated prices and shortages driven by (evil) AI data centers, the situation had put Valve in a bind where they had previously hinted the cost was going to be more than they liked, which was confirmed today.

The Steam Machine comes in 4 packages, but its cheapest version costs $1049 US and comes with 512 GB SSD memory. This version comes with no controller and provides just the box itself. Note that if you're wanting to separately order the Steam Controller, reservations for that are running into an unspecified time in 2027. Here are the other options for buying the Steam Machine:

The two terabyte versions of the Steam Machine come with two additional faceplates of red fabric and solid walnut if the black box look of Valve's design doesn't impress you.
